Junior Academy - How it works

The Junior Academy introduces both boys and girls to figure skating. Classes offer both on and off-ice training opportunities for skaters of all ages. Fundamental figure skating skills are developed in both group and occasionally in private and semi-private lesson formats. Skaters have the option of participating in local competitions in the STAR 1 Program category as well as at our annual ice show performance.
JUNIOR ACADEMY WELCOME PACKAGE

Lessons

Skaters working at all levels and in all figure skating programs develop their skills through group lessons. Skaters participate in group lessons from one several Centre Coaches. On-Ice lessons are typically 45 minutes in length, while off-ice lessons usually last for 20 minutes.

Off-Season Programs
Skaters who participate in off-season programs such as those offered during Christmas Break or Spring Break pay for ice directly to the Centre. Coaches invoice for lesson time individually and parents will be billed directly for these lessons.
