You have probably had a chance to see the new logo by now but here are some details about it.
June 12 2013 Northern BC Centre for Skating officially obtained its logo after the logo was unanimously approved by the board.
The design was done by dinoHb Creative and it represents Canada with the maple leaf, BC with the sun and the arrow pointing north for north.
This logo will represent the Centre, our city, our region, but mostly it will represent unity and importance of working together in achieving great results. The Northern BC Centre for Skating is here to provide the best training for all the athletes no matter where they come from, and the logo is a true symbol of what the Centre is all about.
Due to some unforeseen circumstances, the fitness assessments (detailed below), will not be occurring until Friday at 2pm at the NSC. There still is an opportunity for you to sign up. Please bring the $35 payment to me at your earliest convenience.
If possible, I would really like to see your athlete there. To give you an idea what the assessments look like, I have attached some samples (not the entire package you would receive). Assessments are incredibly valuable tools, not just for the athlete, but also for my coaching team as we sit down to discuss our curriculum for this year. It is essential to have an accurate cross section of information relating to where we are in order to plan on where we want to go.
Tracie Albisser, is once again willing to complete our annual fitness assessments for your athlete. Assessments have proven to be an invaluable tool year after year as its important to know what strengths and weaknesses each athlete has.
***NOTE: there are only 15 spots available, so please RSVP to the Director of Skating ASAP to reserve your space!***
Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the Director of Skating.
