Class with OLYMPIAN Lori Fung

It is an honor to have an Olympic Gold Medalist visit Prince George and an even bigger honor to have her visit our Club.

Spruce City Skating Club is pleased to announce our class with Lori Fung on Monday, August 27th 2012 from 4-5pm at the Elksentre Arena.


We are doing one hour class and space is limited.

Lori Fung Bio :
Born in Vancouver BC. Lori was became the first gold medalist awarded for the sport of Rhythmic Gymnastics in 1984 Summer Olympics. She has been a coach for the Canadian National Team, U.S.A. National Team, and Mexican National Team. She is currently a director and coach for Club Elite Rhythmic Gymnastics in British Columbia. She is also currently working with the following skating clubs: Connaught, Sungod, Killarney, Vancouver, Coquitlam, plus private work with skaters from Center of Excellence and many others.

Honours

• In 1985, she was made a Member of the Order of Canada.
  
• In 1985, she was inducted into the BC Sports Hall of Fame.
• In 1990, she was awarded the Order of British Columbia.
• In 2004, she was inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame.
