The announcement can be found on the CNCR website under Club Info and under Skater/Parent Info. The Cariboo North Central Region is proud to present this years Skaters' Development Seminar! All skaters in the STAR Events and higher are encouraged to participate.

Moderators include: Kevin Bursey ~ Currently coaching at the SunGod Skating club in the Vancouver Region, Kevin brings a wealth of technical information and experience to our region for this seminar. Some of the key roles Kevin has held in the past include: National Performance Director for the UK National Ice Skating Association and Director of programs at Connaught Skating Club in Richmond, as well as coaching many BC skaters up to National and International levels. We look forward to having Kevin back in our region for this fabulous weekend of skating!

Jamie McGregor ~ Director of Skating for the BC/YK Section and coaches at the Oak Bay Figure Skating Club. Jamie has over 32 years experience in coaching singles, pairs and choreography. He has international and world coaching experience and has coached national and international medalists and champions in singles, pairs and artistic. Jamie has come up to our region a number of times to work at several of our seminars and workshops and even used to coach up here! We welcome him once again and look forward to a fun weekend!

Saturday and Sunday will be days spent with the above moderators and other off ice moderators. On Friday evening there will be a “Mini Jamboree”. This is a FUN “Competition” and a great opportunity for skaters to mix and mingle with other skaters in the Region. More information will come out closer to the time

• All skaters will take part in both on and off-ice sessions with the above moderators.
• These will be full days, running from 4-8, Friday, 7-6 Saturday and 7-12 Sunday.
• Small snacks will be provided
• Skaters will need to bring proper skating attire for on-ice, and proper athletic wear and footwear for off-ice jumps as well as a dance class
• Schedules will be available 1 week before the seminar
• Please encourage your coach to join you… there are workshops planned for coaches!
• Please encourage your parents to attend the CNC Region Know Your Sport and the CNCR SAGM – learn how a club operates and the resources that are available.

Registration Fee: $120.00
If you are a member of the any of the Development teams for the 2012/2013 season: Registration Fee is $115.00
Junior Academy Registration Fee: $65.00
