About the Seminar:Enhance your Program Components, develop your Technical! The first day of the seminar is based on Program Components. Day two builds on PC work done during day one, with technical elements being added in.

Our seminar will feature smaller groups than traditional seminars and three coaches will be on the ice at all times during all sessions!
Training Requirements:In addition to skates, skaters will need to bring a training notebook and pen/pencil. All skaters are required to follow the Northern BC Centre for Skating Dress Code Policy and the Athlete Code of Conduct during all portions of the seminar.

Simulation Add-On:This is your chance to simulate your program in front of a Skate Canada judge/technical specialist and get invaluable feedback. Written feedback from the judge/technical specialist will be provided. With the Autumn Leaves competition only a few weeks away this would give you and your coach the opportunity to make adjustments to your program using the feedback you get from the judge. Cost for participation in the Simulation portion is only $20! Space is limited. Northern BC Centre for Skating members who simulate will receive a small invoice for coach facilitation of the simulation portion.

Facilitator Bios:
A successful entrepreneur that has taken her passion, talent, and hard work and turned it into a community driven dance studio, The Happening, in Vancouver, BC. entering their sixth season. A studio that people have an immediate magnetic connection to. A nationally acclaimed dancer, teacher, and choreographer with 11 years of professional dance experience that has taken her across Canada and abroad to learn from the greatest in her industry, 21 years of teaching experience leading her to become a Sessional instructor at Simon Fraser University and to teach at the most acclaimed dance studios in the lower mainland before opening up her own. A sought after choreographer for outreach, school, and large community events like the well-known East Van Panto that entertained over 14,000 audience members.
